James Moncier, PhD

Dr. James Moncier joined the UAB Faculty in October 2000. He graduated with a PhD in Counseling Psychology in 1991 from Indiana State university and completed an internship at the VAMC in Danville, IL. He is licensed to practice psychology in both Alabama and Florida, is a certified consultant of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, and is listedin the United States Olympic Committee's Sport Psychology Registry. His areas of interest include sport and performance psychology, burnout, and stress management. In his leisure time he enjoys working with computers.
